JOB DESCRIPTION

Baseballism is the official off the field brand of baseball: a company built from the tradition, history and class of America's Pastime. Our retail store in League City, TX is looking for sales associates. This is where you come in.

This hourly position is a customer centric role that requires a good attitude, exceptional service, and work ethic. Common tasks may include but aren’t limited to handling customer transactions, store merchandising (as directed by the Lead Associate) or cleaning.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional customer service

Maintain visual and presentation standards throughout store and stock area

Execute merchandising as directed and help maintain a neat and tidy sales floor

Create a fun and energetic atmosphere inside the store with customers and staff

Engage with customers and ensure they are served beyond their expectation

Process payments, handle returns and restock the showroom floor

Work with integrity and a positive outlook

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Requires standing approximately 5-8 hours per day, up to 5 days per week

During peak sales periods, longer shifts throughout the day are possible

May be required to climb ladders or ascend/descend stairs to stock and/or acquire merchandise

Required to lift items weighing 5-30 lbs. In some instances, weights may be higher

QUALIFICATIONS and PREFERRED SKILLS

Previous customer service experience is a plus

Outgoing and energetic

Knowledge of baseball or softball is a plus
