Title: Lake Point Manager - Emerson, GA

Reports to: Retail Area Manager

Job Description

Baseballism is the official off the field brand of baseball: a company built from the tradition, history and class of America’s Pastime. We are looking for someone who can champion the brand and treat this location as if it was his or her own.

As the Baseballism Lake Point Manager, you will be responsible for upholding the brand and overseeing and maintaining effectiveness of all the aspects of the container through the supervision of the store staff. This role requires you to become a master of the brand and daily problem solver. You will be expected to display leadership with passion, energy, and integrity. You will report directly to the Retail Area Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service

Communicate with Lake Point and Tournament Host

Communicate with other vendors

Supervise 3-5 associate level staff members

Provide a positive, motivating, and fun workplace for employees and customers

Use Paycom to create a staff schedule that maximizes productivity and effective payroll cost

Adhere to payroll limits

Assign task to associates daily/weekly

Monitor performance of associates

Create a merchandising plan based on sales

Ensure the store is presentable and clean

Receive, stock, and merchandise all incoming transfer

Receive transfers at the assigned storage unit

Ensure storage unit and storage closet is organized and easily countable

Ensure storage closet is stocked properly

Conduct inventory counts twice a month

Handle all bank deposits and accurate change counts

Physical Demands

Requires standing 8 hours per day, 5 days per week

Ability to work in hot conditions

May be required to climb ladders

Required to lift boxes weighing 5-30lbs

Work average of 40-50 hours per week

Qualifications and Preferred Skills

2+ years of customer service

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Strong understanding of sales in a retail environment

Daily problem solver
Solid understanding of baseball
