Title: Store Manager

Reports to: Retail Operations Manager

Travel Estimation: 10%



Baseballism a premium lifestyle brand build from the tradition, history and class of America’s favorite pastime. We are looking for someone who can champion the brand and treat this location as if it was his or her won.

 As the store manager, you will be responsible for upholding the brand and overseeing and maintaining effectiveness of all the aspects of the store through the supervision of the store staff. This role requires you to become a master of the brand and daily problem solver. You will be expected to display leadership with passion, energy and integrity. You will report directly to the Retail Operations Manager.


Implement and supervise a positive and engaging customer service experience

Ensure company standards are maintained regarding merchandise presentations and store cleanliness

Assist supervisor in recruiting, interviewing and hiring associate staff

Maintain a structured store training program, as set forth by the corporate office

Supervise 2-10 associate level staff members in accordance with HR policies

Provide a positive, enjoyable and motivating workplace for employees

Use Deputy to create a staff schedule that maximizes productivity and effective payroll cost control

Adhere to established payroll limits to meet company labor productivity goal

Assign work to associates daily and organize workflow

Monitor and evaluate overall performance of staff

Develop, implement and supervise a marketing strategy that maximizes store exposure and brings ROI
Create a merchandising plan to ensure the store is presented in a professional and appealing manner

Receive, stock and merchandise all incoming transfers
Know inventory strengths and weaknesses

Ensure all merchandise in the stockroom is organized and easily counted

Utilize Shopify and cycle count inventory to ensure accuracy is to company standards
Use ShipStation for ecommerce fulfillment (as delegated)

Collaborate retail store improvement strategies with supervisor

Handle all bank deposits and accurate cash reconciliation

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor



Requires standing approximately 5-8 hours per day, usually 5 days per week

During peak sales periods, longer shifts throughout the day are possible

May be required to climb ladders or ascend/descend stairs in order to stock and/or acquire merchandise

Required to lift items weighing 5-30 lbs. In some instances, weights may be higher

Work an average of 40-45 hours per week



2+ years of customer service
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Strong understanding of sales in a retail environment
Daily problem solver
Solid understanding of baseball
